Island Time Catering Co. was founded in 2021 to bring a fun, no-hassle catering solution for casual parties and events to our clients and guests throughout southern New England. Inspired by the local cuisines and flavors of the Caribbean and Americas, we have a variety of coastal and local-inspired menus available for you and your guests to enjoy at your next event.

Local Roots
Island Time catering was founded as a spin-off from our restaurant “The Food Shack” in 2021. The Food Shack first opened in 2010 as Flat Waves restaurant, and slowly became an (Aquidneck) Island staple. We are excited to be able to offer you a variety of catering menus designed to bring you your favorite dishes from the restaurant as well as a variety of offerings exclusive to Island Time!
